H.E. Andrew Patrick
Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Myanmar
After periods in Kabul as Deputy Head of Mission and in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office as Additional Director South Asia, Andrew Patrick took up his post as British Ambassador to Burma in September 2013. Mainly responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, he also initiated as a main fundraiser and a supporter of “My Yangon My Home – Yangon Art & Heritage Festival” celebrated in March 2015 and March 2017 in Yangon.
Yin Myo Su
Founder & Director of the Inle Heritage Trust
Yin Myo Su is the managing director of the Inle Princess Group, and founder of the Inle Heritage Foundation. She is passionate about women’s empowerment, economic development, heritage and environmental preservation, art, culture and citizen engagement. Furthermore, Yin Myo Su has taken a leading role in protection of the unique and at risk marine life of Inle Lake. She is also a chairperson of the Inle Heritage Hospitality Vocational Training Center and a founder of Inle Heritage Private School.
Thiri Thant Mon
Managing Partner at Sandanila Investments
Thiri Thant Mon is a founding Managing Partner at Sandanila Investments, an investment banking advisory firm. She serves as a board member of NEXlabs and ThitsaWorks Inc. and of non-profit organisations Kite Tales Foundation, Phandeeyar Foundation and Turquoise Mountain Foundation. Thiri holds a degree in Economics from William & Mary and a MBA from the London Business School. She is an active supporter of a number of initiatives including being the organiser of TEDxInyaLake 2016 and TEDxYangon 2017.
Ester van Steekelenburg
Founder & Director iDiscovery, Regional Heritage Expert
Ester has been working in heritage preservation all around Asia, from Beijing to Bangkok. She works with governments, developers and NGO’s to build the business case for urban regeneration and to better capitalise on their heritage assets. She is also the founder iDiscover, a socially responsible travel app with community curated walking and cycling routes in Asia’s most authentic neighbourhoods.

Yangon Heritage Trust advocates for heritage protection, develops clear and sustainable policy options, engages with government, business and civil society, communicates its ideas to the widest possible audience, undertakes specific conservation projects, and facilitates research and training.
