House Roselea - Pho Sein Road

‘House Roselea’, a well preserved house typical to Yangon in the early 1900’s. The lower level is constructed using thick, lime plastered masonry walls. It also features an open living space with original 100-year-old marble tiles, generously high ceilings, and a fully restored wrap-around terrace and garden. [Photo credit – Ann Wang]

The upper level is made with teak floors, walls and roof structure. All features have been restored wherever possible, while kitchens, showers, electrics and lighting have been improved to meet high-quality, modern standards. [Photo credit – Kieran Maguire]
