At Doh Eain we work to make Yangon a more vibrant, inclusive and sustainable city, owned and enjoyed by the original residents who actively take part in developing the city’s rich and diverse legacy. To help achieve this purpose and facilitate broader participation, we organise Impact Days for corporates, NGOs, embassies, schools and other organisations. Through these days participants will be directly
involved in the sustainable urban development of the city, whilst helping to generate revenue for our activities programmed for the day.
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN AN IMPACT DAY?
An Impact Day is a fun activity where employees experience volunteering and have a positive impact on the city they live in. Volunteering breaks down barriers and offers major benefits to your company or organisation, your staff and the community in which you operate. A volunteer project can offer an increased opportunity to:
- Raise the community profile of the company, by strengthening relationships with employees, enhancing image and brand awareness;
- Promote wellbeing: employees benefit from making a difference in the community and report major satisfaction in contributing to a defined and valuable community need and in using their skills to work with colleagues in a new environment; and
- Build organisational capacity by establishing new relationships, connecting with the community and meeting new people.
In particular, volunteering with Doh Eain will enable your staff to connect and engage with their city in a new way, making a positive and lasting contribution that will remain visible. Interested? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

IMPACT DAY FOR SCHOOLS
An Impact Day is a fun activity where children experience volunteering and have a positive impact on the city they live in. It can be the first step in seeing the city as a place to look after, help develop and be
proud of. In addition an educational component can be added about what is good public/community space, about collaboration, and/or about the specific theme that the location of your impact day may have (e.g. art, waste management, poetry).
